Wind Mitigation

A Wind Mitigation Inspection is an insurance discount form that documents features in your home that help withstand hurricane-force winds. It checks things like how your roof is attached, if you have impact-resistant windows, and other construction details that reduce storm damage.

Since this form is created by the state of Florida, all insurance companies must accept it. If your home qualifies, your insurer must apply any eligible credits to your policy, potentially leading to significant savings on your homeowner’s insurance premiums.

The report is valid for five (5) years, meaning you can continue receiving these savings without needing another inspection until it expires.

4-Point Inspection

During a 4-Point Inspection, we assess the four major systems in your home that your insurances cares most about:

  • Roof – We check the age, material, and condition of your roof to determine if it meets insurance requirements.
  • Plumbing – We look for leaks, pipe material, and overall system condition to assess the risk of water damage.
  • HVAC (Heating & Cooling) – We inspect the air conditioning and heating system to ensure it’s in working order and not a fire hazard.
  • Electrical System – We evaluate the type of wiring, panel brand, and overall safety to identify any potential risks.
Standalone Roof Certification

Roof Certification

A Roof Certification is a limited visual inspection that assesses the condition and remaining life expectancy of your roof for insurance purposes. This inspection focuses solely on the roof covering and is performed from the roof deck, ladder, or ground, depending on accessibility and safety.

Insurance companies use this report to determine if your roof meets their coverage requirements. If your roof is in good condition, a Roof Certification can help you secure or maintain homeowners insurance without needing a full replacement.
